To provide students with an enriching experience, fostering interest in space exploration and science, while exploring Ahmedabad's cultural and historical significance.
*Day 1: Journey and Arrival*
Our group of 24 students and 3 teachers embarked on an exciting journey to Ahmedabad, Gujarat. After arriving at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, we checked into our hotel and freshened up.
*Day 2: ISRO Visit*
The highlight of our trip was visiting the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) facility in Ahmedabad. We were briefed on India's space programs, including Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan missions. Students interacted with ISRO scientists, gaining valuable insights into space research and technology.
*Sightseeing in Ahmedabad:*
1. *Sabarmati Ashram:* We visited Mahatma Gandhi's former residence, now a museum showcasing India's struggle for independence.
2. *Akshardham Temple:* Marveling at the stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.
3. *River Front:* Exploring the historic stepwell's intricate carvings and architecture.
4. *City Museum:* Learning about Ahmedabad's history, art, and culture.
5. *Kankaria Lake:* Enjoying a relaxing evening stroll around the lake.
*Day 3: More Explorations*
1. *Science City:* Interactive exhibits and displays sparked curiosity among students.
