Kargil Diwas Celebration

On the occasion of Kargil Diwas, our school, Dyal Singh Public School, Jarnaily Colony, celebrated the bravery and sacrifice of the heroes of the Kargil War. We collaborated with FM Radio 94.5 for an event titled "527 Heroes," named in honour of the 527 soldiers who were martyred during the conflict.

FM Radio 94.5 played a significant role in this collaboration, sending 5,27,000 salutes from listeners to commemorate the martyrs. In our school assembly, students came together to sing patriotic songs and pay tribute to the heroes of Kargil.

The assembly featured inspiring speeches by our Principal, Mrs. Sushma Devgan, along with RJ Divya and RJ Aditi from FM Radio 94.5.

We reflected on a powerful quote: "We salute our heroes who sacrificed their lives to save ours and the heroes who continue to protect our country and its people."

The event was a profound reminder of the bravery and dedication of our soldiers and a heartfelt salute to their enduring legacy.
