Toddlers of Nursery, LKG and UKG of our school visited Nirmal Kutia on 29/12/23. Keeping in mind the protocol of the Gurudwara, the young children covered their heads with a headscarf. All the kids washed their hands before climbing the stairs. Students bowed down in front of Shri Guru Granth Sahib- the holy book of the Sikhs and said a small prayer. Information on the Sikh religion was given to them by the Head priest. Kada Prasad- the customary offering to Sikh gurus was given to the little ones. They relished the unique taste of the prasad and ate langar. This visit made the young children understand that they should respect all religions of our country.
